Corona rules for the winter season 21/22

The corona measures in Austria work according to a so-called 5-step plan and depend on the occupation of the IC beds. Quite recently there was still a 3-step plan, but it has recently been adjusted. The strictest measures apply to 'Step 5', which mainly apply to unvaccinated people. At the moment 'Step 2' is in effect. As Golden Lodges Rauris, we also do everything we can to make your stay as safe as possible. The advantage of course already begins with you having booked your own apartment and can therefore minimize contact with the other guests. Under the Austrian 5-step plan you will find our Corona house rules and what we have arranged for you. We aim to publish an up-to-date picture of the Corona situation in Austria here. But make sure you are also aware of the rules of your own government regarding foreign travel. Below we briefly summarize what each step of the Austrian plan entails for your visit to Austria and Golden Lodges Rauris.

            The Austrian 5-step plan

Step 1: 200 IC beds in Austria occupied

  • FFP2 face mask obligation in places where a regular face mask was previously required, such as supermarkets, pharmacies and public areas;
  • FFP2 masks obligation for unvaccinated people in all shops;
  • 3-G rule for gatherings of 25 people or more;
  • Antigen tests are only valid for 24 hours.

Step 2: 300 IC beds in Austria occupied (valid from 8 November!)

  • 2-G rule, ie only vaccinated or recently cured, for night gastronomy, après-ski and major events without fixed seats;
  • Self-tests are no longer valid as 3-G proof.

Step 3: 400 IC beds in Austria occupied

  • Wherever the 3-G rule applies, only vaccinated people, recently cured people or people with a negative PCR test are allowed.

Step 4: 500 IC beds in Austria occupied

  • Everywhere where the 3-G rule applied, the 2-G rule applies from then on, so only access for vaccinated or recently cured people.

Step 5: 600 IC beds in Austria occupied

  • People who have not been vaccinated or have recently been cured are only allowed to leave their home in certain cases: for example for shopping, work or care.

Corona house rules Golden Lodges Rauris

Golden Lodges Rauris applies the following rules at the request of the Austrian government. Guests must be in possession of a valid vaccination certificate and a working QR code on the mobile phone. This means you have been vaccinated or cured. The rules are always changing, and via the link below you can see for yourself what the current status is in Austrai that you will have to comply with. If you do not comply with the rules and we cannot and are not allowed to accommodate you in an apartment, you cannot claim a refund of your accommodation costs. So always look carefully at the applicable rules.

  • In the Aparthotel you must always wear a face mask in public areas until further notice. These must be the so-called FFP2 mouth caps. If you don't have it with you, you can purchase it at our hotel for a small fee;
  • In the ski areas, a maximum of 6 people may be present at the same time. We ask you to wait in the hallway if necessary;
  • In the bistro you must wear a mask and you are asked to disinfect your hands. If you take a seat in the Bistro, you can take off your face mask. As soon as you get up you are expected to wear the mask again;
  • You are also expected to wear your face mask in the parking garage. Outside you can leave the face masks off and children up to the age of 12 fall outside these rules.
  • A maximum of 4 people with a face mask may stay in the lifts. Or a maximum of 6 people if one consists of one family.
